Gem & Jam Festival 2023 Schedule
The String Cheese Incident can be seen in a forest and a swamp for their resident festivals, but this will be their debut at Gem & Jam, which takes place in a scenic desert region just south of Tucson, Arizona. They will be playing two sets and will be sure to bring their innovative style and upbeat jams with them to headline the weekend. The new project from String Cheese member Michael Travis and Aaron Johnston, “Snakes & Stars”, will also be performing. Snakes & Stars will be making their debut at Electric Forest in June as well.
Also performing this year is LSDream (helmed by Sammi Diament) who will add his unique psychedelic bass music and rainbow alien visuals to the main stage. LSDream blends a perfect balance of experimental bass and positive messaging all infused with colorful visual effects that create a truly magical experience.
[Update] It was also just announced that LSDream will bring his “Lightcode” project to the festival, which consists of meditation downtempo sets that are not to be missed.
Rounding out the headlining artists are The Floozies, who are always a funky crowd favorite, and Emancipator, who brings a unique blend of live-stringed instruments and serene soundscapes.
[Update] More Artists/Projects have now been added like LSDream’s “Lightcode”, Talking Dead, Snakes & Stars, Safi’s Lab, Since July, as well as an “All the Homies” Opal Stage Takeover of over 40 local artists!

A few artists on the Gem & Jam Festival Lineup who have recently toured are SoDown, Marvel Years, Eazybaked, DirtWire, and Ravenscoon. It is worth noting that the lineup also includes some house artists like Mark Farina, Justin Martin, and Justin Jay.
Other artists on the Gem & Jam 2023 lineup include Haywyre, Ott, The Funk Hunters, TieDye Ky, and Jason Leech, who each bring a unique flair to the Gem & Jam lineup.
Whether you like experimental bass, funk, bluegrass, jam, rock, house, downtempo, or dub, you will be sure to find something to love in this lineup. The beauty of an eclectic lineup though is not only to find what you already love, but to also discover something new. Gem and Jam is a unique and intimate festival that should not be missed this winter.
