Texas Eclipse Festival is taking place April 5-9, 2024 outside of Austin, Texas, with prime viewing of the weekend’s total solar eclipse.

Texas Eclipse is more than just a music festival. In addition to the artists and DJs headlining on the lineup, the festival will also host science, technology, and health and wellness workshops from collectives like Meow Wolf, MAPS, NASA, and SpaceX.

New additions to the lineup are shown highlighed in the images above. While Texas Eclipse is by definition a music festival, the educational and artistic workshops are so widespread that they have their own lineup as well.
The music lineup at Texas Eclipse is presented by each stage, with a wide variety of genres represented at the camping festival. Daily Bread was announced as the headliner for the Thursday pre-party. The event continues through the following week, as the solar eclipse will pass through Central Texas on Monday afternoon. Burnet will see 4 minutes and 20 seconds of totality, making it an ideal place to view the eclipse compared to elsewhere in the United States.
The Texas Eclipse lineup features a mix of jam bands, house music, techno, trance, bass music, and live bands.
Big Gigantic, The String Cheese Incident, STS9, Subtronics, LSDream, Charlotte De Witte, Paul Oakenfold, and Seth Troxler are some of the festival’s most recognizable names. The recent lineup drop upgraded the festival significantly, with a dubstep set from Skream and 2024 Grammy winner Flowdan added to the schedule.
There doesn’t appear to be one main stage at Texas Eclipse. Instead, the artists are spread throughout the festival grounds. Some notable names on the Sky stage include Ardalan, Bob Moses, John 00 Fleming, Desert Hearts, Maya Jane Coles, and Tiga. The Moon stage is more bass oriented, with Eprom, Esseks, and KLL SMTH all being added to the lineup last week.
The workshops at Texas Eclipse cover a wide range of subject matter and presenters.
In true eclipse fashion, there are many astronauts and space experts presenting at the festival. There will be representatives from Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, NASA, and other private missions like Inspiration4 and dearMoon. There are dozens of scientists and technology figures there, as well as yoga and mindfulness presentations. The health and wellness lineup has some star power, with Paul Stamets, Andrew Weil, and Adrian Greiner (from HBO’s Entourage) all scheduled to be there.
