Lollapalooza Announces Set Times for August 2023 at Grant Park

Lollapalooza in downtown Chicago just announced their 2023 lineup with headliners like Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish alongside an impressive undercard.

When it comes to summertime festivals, few events are as iconic as Lollapalooza. The downtown Chicago festival just announced its 2023 lineup for another year at Grant Park, and it features some of their most impressive talent in recent years.

While headlining artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, ODESZA, Lana Del Rey, Karol G, The 1975, and Tomorrow X Together are sure to draw fans from all over the world, the rest of the Lollapalooza 2023 lineup has plenty of DJs and artists that result in a can’t-miss festival.

Lollapalooza 2023 Set Times

Lollapalooza is a globally known festival on par with major events like Coachella and Bonnaroo.

Starting in the 1990s as an alternative rock concert, Lollapalooza has grown into a diverse festival that covers all genres. In 2022 [REVIEW], it was announced that the festival had renewed its lease for Grant Park for another 10 years. The downtown venue is complete with views of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan that make for one of the most scenic (and convenient) venues in the festival scene.

After the headliners, the Lollapalooza 2023 lineup includes both mainstream superstars and underrated up-and-comers.

The first name on the undercard is renowned house DJ/producer Fred Again.., who has blown up significantly in the last year and recently sold out Madison Square Garden with Skrillex and Four Tet. Diplo, Louis The Child, Subtronics, SVDDEN DEATH, Alan Walker, Afrojack, Gorgon City, Nora En Pure, Dom Dolla, Meduza, AC Slater, and Timmy Trumpet are some of the most prominent names in the EDM scene and will likely play at Perry’s, the EDM-dedicated stage at Lolla.

Lollapalooza 2023 Lineup

Hip-hop and pop music have become a specialty at Lollapalooza.

Some of our favorite female vocalists at Lolla 2023 include Maggie Rogers, Carly Rae Jepsen, Rina Sawayama, Beabadoobee, Charlotte Sands, Lainey Wilson, and Jessie Reyez. When it comes to hip-hop, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Pusha T, J.I.D, Lil Yachty, Key Glock, Joey Bada$$, Skizzy Mars, Brakence, and Pardyalone are our most anticipated names.

One thing that sets the Lollapalooza 2023 lineup apart from previous years is the strength of the EDM artists on the undercard.

Coming off his sold-out Room 202 tour, Knock2 will surely be one of the most energetic sets of the weekend. Wax Motif, Acraze, J. Worra, Matroda, Solardo, and Dillon Nathaniel will bring some house music vibes. Bass music is also well represented, with artists like RemK, Ray Volpe, Hairitage, and the man himself, DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal). Other notable acts include Big Wild, Sofi Tukker, ARMNHMR, and Disco Lines.

Lollapalooza 2023 will be another unforgettable weekend in the Chicago summer.

And if the festival isn’t enough for you, there will also be a full slate of aftershows happening across the city’s venues. Lollapalooza is one of the most complete festival experiences in the game, and 2023 might be one of their best years in recent memory.
