Armin van Buuren and Gareth Emery Recruit Owl City for “Forever & Always”

Trance and EDM legends Armin van Buuren and Gareth Emery join forces on “Forever & Always” featuring vocals from Adam Young from Owl City.


Known for their uplifting trance-inspired music, Gareth Emery and Armin van Buuren just teamed up for their first-ever collaboration. “Forever & Always” features vocals from Adam Young of Owl City, famous for his worldwide hits like “Fireflies” and “Good Time”.

The song debuted in Armin van Buuren’s mainstage set at Ultra Music Festival 2022 and has been played by Armin in many of his sets throughout the last year. Originally inspired by Owl City’s iconic sound, Gareth Emery first began working on the song in 2020. “Forever & Always” combines Armin, Gareth, and Adam’s talents to create a proper EDM banger with a nostalgic touch.

The song was teased by Armin van Buuren at ASOT1000 Los Angeles with Gareth Emery joining him onstage.

Armin’s fanbase has been waiting for “Forever & Always” for months, and the much-anticipated release does not disappoint. Gareth Emery and Armin van Buuren are two EDM superstars that have their own distinct sounds, and their first collaboration delivers on its high expectations.

Adam Young (Owl City) only makes sporadic appearances in the electronic music scene, and his guest vocals on “Forever & Always” are a welcome return to EDM. He collaborated with Chicane on “Middledistancerunner” and released his first track with Armin van Buuren “Youtopia” in 2010.

Armin van Buuren has recently played some of the world’s biggest festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Gareth Emery is currently on his LSR/CITY V2 tour.

On “Forever & Always”, Armin van Buuren and Gareth Emery combined their signature sounds beautifully for an instant classic EDM track. Expect “Forever & Always” to be a staple in both artists’ sets for years to come.
