Necropolis Debuts Bass-Heavy Halloween Music Festival in Chicago

Necropolis Chicago is a two-day Halloween EDM festival at Northerly Island featuring JOYRYDE, Excision, Alison Wonderland, and more.

Necropolis Music Festival is a two-day event taking over Chicago on October 29-30. The newly-announced music festival will bring all the bassheads to Northerly Island for the perfect night of dubstep and drum & bass over Halloweekend.

Necropolis tickets start at $79 and are on sale now. Two-day passes, single day tickets, and VIP options are still available.

Necropolis Chicago daily lineup

Necropolis Chicago will feature heavy bass headliners Excision, Kayzo, Joyryde, Alison Wonderland, DJ Diesel aka Shaq, Getter, Layz, Lucii, Wreckno, and Reaper.

The 18+ event will include two massive tent structures located on Northerly Island. The venue sits near Soldier Field overlooking the glowing Chicago skyline at night alongside Lake Michigan. The ghouling grounds of this bass-heavy festival combined with the eeriness of late evenings at Lake Michigan will surely create the perfect haunted aura for the Halloween festival.

The versatile lineup includes other electronic artists such as Adventure Club, ARMNHMR, Blanke, and a back-to-back set from 1991 and Culture Shock. Necropolis is sure to bring all bassheads out for a haunted night under the city lights on Chicago’s Northerly Island. There will also be Necropolis aftershows, including Excision at Aragon Ballroom on Saturday, October 29.

Auris Presents has recently debuted two other music festivals in Chicago. The company hosted Heatwave Music Festival in July at Douglas Park and has their second year of ARC Music Festival this Labor Day Weekend at Union Park. Necropolis will be the first Halloween festival in Chicago since Freaky Deaky and promises to be a proper ending to festival season 2022.
