Kaskade Announces Postgame Concert at Chicago White Sox Game on August 12

Chicago-born EDM DJ Kaskade will perform for Chicago White Sox fans at Guaranteed Rate Field following the Sox vs. Tigers game on August 12, 2022.

Kaskade is one of the most famous DJs in the history of electronic music. He’ll be bringing his talents back home to Chicago for a postgame concert after the White Sox game at Guaranteed Rate Field on August 12.

The concert will start approximately 30 minutes following the ending of the game, and all ticketholders can stick around and watch the show. Field access packages start at $55 and include both a ticket to the game and on-field access to the concert.

Kaskade will be the first White Sox postgame concert this season.

Other teams have brought out DJs in past seasons, such as the Philadelphia Phillies hosting Zedd and the Tampa Bay Rays hosting Steve Aoki and Calvin Harris. While this is the first time the White Sox have thrown an EDM event, this isn’t the first time Guaranteed Rate Field has hosted an electronic music legend. In 2016, Skrillex performed at the sold-out Magnificent Coloring Day headlined by Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, John Legend, and Alicia Keys.

Kaskade has headlined the world’s biggest festivals and recently debuted his Kx5 project with Deadmau5 at EDC Las Vegas.

In the official MLB.com press release, Kaskade is recognized as the first solo dance artist to sell out Navy Pier, Staples Center, and SoFi Stadium. He was also the first DJ to establish a musical residency in Las Vegas. Hailing from Chicago and graduating from Glenbrook North High School, Kaskade is a Sox fan that previously threw out the first pitch in 2013.

Tickets can be purchased separately from the White Sox or via a Field Pass Package, which offers several tiers of pricing and on-field access for the show.

Starting at $55 in Section 111, tickets closer to home plate are available for $65 (Section 114) and $85 (Section 119). Buy a Field Pass ticket now to sit with other Kaskade fans and guarantee floor access and a ticket to the game. This unique postgame show from the Chicago White Sox can’t be missed.
