Illenium live streamed his entire throwback set from The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 12th, 2021.
Illenium just finished up a three night run at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Two of the sets were live streamed in their entirety, with Sunday night being an Illenium throwback set.
The throwbacks that Illenium plays are mostly classic tracks from earlier in his career. For this one, he specifically played a lot of throwback remixes including “Disarm You“, “Say It“, “Don’t Let Me Down“, and “Silence“.
The 100-minute set also included a wide selection of tracks that Illenium still plays today, as well as some more unexpected drops like “Nightmare” by Virtual Riot and “Jefe” (VIP) by Boombox Cartel.
The set from Saturday, December 11th was also live streamed on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter.
It was Illenium’s first live stream since his Lollapalooza 2021 performance at the second main stage. The live streams mark the end of the Fallen Embers Tour, which also had a multi-night run in San Francisco at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. It comes just a week after Ember Shores, Illenium’s curated festival in Cancun.
Following the Fallen Embers Tour, Illenium will be performing at Hi Jinx Festival, Ultra Music Festival, and two nights at Echostage in Washington, DC.
Illenium is set for another massive year as one of the most successful DJs in the EDM scene, and he’ll surely be appearing on more festival lineups soon. With a dedicated fanbase, epic DJ sets, and impressive productions, Illenium generally deserves all the hype he gets when it comes to melodic bass music.
