Following the debut of Optics Records, we interviewed Tres Mortimer about his new label, his releases with Dim Mak and Mad Decent, how to utilize social media, and more.
Très Mortimer has established himself as a future star of the electronic music scene. He just revealed his new record label, Optics Records, and recently performed alongside Steve Aoki at Dim Mak showcases at Summerfest Milwaukee and Miami Music Week.
One of Très Mortimer’s first major releases was “BAMBU” with plumpy on Diplo’s Mad Decent in 2018. A former hip-hop producer, his recent house music releases have found significant success on SoundCloud, Spotify, and TikTok. After his self-released tracks like “MY HOUSE” and “TELL ME” accumulated thousands of plays, Tres Mortimer started Optics Records in 2022.
Currently based in Chicago and Los Angeles, Très Mortimer performed at the inaugural Heatwave Festival in Chicago in July 2022.
