Movement Electronic Music Festival, the premier house and techno festival in America, just announced the 2022 lineup for their return to Hart Plaza in Detroit.
One of the longest standing and most beloved house and techno festivals in the world is Movement Detroit. Featuring a mix of underground electronic music with a touch of hip-hop, bass, and other genres, Movement Detroit should be experienced by all EDM fans at least once.
With both the 2020 and 2021 editions canceled due to coronavirus, Movement is coming back in a big way in 2022. Scheduled for May 28-30, 2022, this year’s Movement lineup is officially here. Movement tickets are available to purchase now.

Movement Detroit’s house music lineup is impressive, featuring artists like Chris Lake, Dom Dolla, MK, and Gorgon City.
Movement is bringing out some of the industry’s biggest names in house music. The lineup includes John Summit, Justin Martin, Gorgon City, Will Clarke, and Dirtybird artists like Ardalan and Claude Vonstroke. The Martinez Brothers, Maceo Plex, and Loco Dice will bring a world-class tech house vibe that can’t be missed.
The techno selection is what makes Movement so special, and this year’s lineup is one of their best yet.
There are plenty of must-see underground techno acts at Movement 2022. Some of the most massive names include ANNA, Nastia, and Anfisa Letyago. Adam Beyer will return for another mainstage performance, while 999999999 [live] will bring some heavy hitting techno to the underground stage.

Taking place over Memorial Day weekend, Movement Detroit 2022 also features some surprises and b2b performances on the lineup.
Skrillex will be making his return to Detroit after last appearing alongside Boys Noize as Dog Blood in 2015. [UPDATE: Skrillex canceled his festival appearances] Atlanta-based rapper 2 Chainz brings some hip-hop vibes to the fest (previous years have featured Juicy J and Wu-Tang Clan). Flying Lotus and Duck Sauce are welcome unexpected additions to the lineup.
Drum n Bass legend Goldie will be going b2b with LTJ Bukem for a unique set featuring iconic bass music MC Armanni Reign. Other b2bs include Audion and Ryan Elliott and Eris Drew and Octo Octa. The second tier of the lineup is filled with talent like Hiroko Yamamura, Dantiez, and Tammy Lakkis.
