Discover GoodDay’s Hyper EDM Sound With “Collide” Featuring Melodia [Exclusive Premiere]

Orlando-based duo GoodDay just released “Collide”, an upbeat house track featuring vocals from Melodia.

Following the release of their debut EP HappySad in 2021, GoodDay is back with their second single of 2022. “Collide” is a vocal-driven track with a unique blend of house music, dancepop, and bass house.

Take a listen below to the exclusive premiere of “Collide” (feat. Melodia) by GoodDay on Premier EDM:

GoodDay consists of Chase Mormur and Liam Pammer, two best friends who met in Orlando, Florida at Full Sail University.

The duo started GoodDay with the goal of sharing positive frequencies and their love for music with the world. After experimenting with several genres, they now make their own style of electronic music that they’ve called Hyper EDM. It often features real-life elements like live instruments and nature ambiances. GoodDay’s first track came in 2020 and their sound continues to evolve.

“Collide” was originally a pop/R&B song before GoodDay added their EDM production to the original track.

The intro combines Melodia’s original vocals with electronic sounds, live guitar, and drums. The first drop brings a bassy slap house feel on top of GoodDay’s hyper EDM sound. After an epic breakdown and buildup, the second drop surprises with a deep and emotional bass house sound.

High and Lows” by GoodDay, released in February, reached as high as #7 on the Spinnin’ Records Talent Pool Chart.

“Highs and Lows” has been supported by several other artists including Orlando-based DJ Protaxia. Their music has also been featured on prominent Spotify playlists like EDM Hits 2022 and Chill Electronic. With a unique combination of live instrumentation and EDM, GoodDay is definitely a project to watch in the future.

“We don’t want to sound like anyone else. Music today is so saturated, and we believe the world needs frequencies that are true to our heart & soul. Our sound results from a plethora of inspiration, ranging from classic rock, reggae, house, and hip hop.”
