SHIFT Miami is a new event series coming to Miami Music Week featuring networking opportunities and programming far beyond the average conference.
Based in South Beach during the legendary Miami Music Week before Ultra Music Festival, SHIFT Miami is bringing a new event series to South Beach. No matter what your role is in the electronic music industry, SHIFT is looking to revolutionize the professional side of Miami Music Week.
The event series is presented by a group behind last year’s Winter Music Conference and seeks to build off the traditional conference format. SHIFT will instead focus on real-world connections and networking experiences to deliver value to artists, industry figures, and passionate fans. The famous Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs) will be thrown by the same team, and a SHIFT pass includes entry to the EDMAs pool party on Friday.
The initial lineup for SHIFT is out now, featuring many influential labels and collectives that will be present at sponsored events. SHIFT passes are on sale now, and read more about SHIFT on their official website.
SHIFT Miami is hosted at The Clevelander South Beach as well as partner venues across South Beach, Miami.
Some noteworthy labels on the phase one lineup include Revealed Records, Spinnin Records, Ophelia Records, Atlantic Records, and mau5trap. Other collectives include WME, Red Light Management, DJ Life Mag, iHeart, and Unfolded PR. Expect interactive workshops, demo submissions, presentations, and more.
