As if 2025 wasn’t already a year full of groundbreaking releases, Seven Lions is here to round out everything with his second full-length album.
Clocking in at 44 minutes long, Asleep In The Garden of Infernal Stars by Seven Lions is an 11-track album full of eclectic heavy beats of progressive trance, house, drum n bass, and dubstep. It takes you on a journey unlike anything to have come out of the Ophelia Records universe since its start in 2018.

With previously released singles such as “By The Light of the Moon”, featuring the illustrious Kerli on vocals, “Cold As Snow” featuring HALIENE, and “So Far Away” featuring Lilly Ahlberg, Seven Lions has created an entire universe filled with twinkling melodies and lush backgrounds that fill listeners’ ears and hearts with whimsy and wonder.
Let’s take a deep dive into each of its tracks to really capture the magic and enchantment that carries through from one track to another, creating a captivating story that will leave listeners wanting more. Asleep In The Garden of Infernal Stars is available now on all platforms.
The album starts out with the haunting melody of “Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars.” This song really shows Seven Lions’ growth as he keeps his signature sound but adds subtle yet noticeable details.
Immediately after, he goes straight into what is probably the most anticipated track on the album, “Breaking Me.” This is one of the standout tracks, as he wastes no time filling listeners’ ears with piano chords and floating vocals. The track then crescendos into what is sure to be one of the most danceable songs Seven Lions has ever produced. Ending with his signature dubby sound, it’s sure to please the hearts of both his progressive house and bass music music lovers.

From there, he takes the listeners on a deeper journey of darker, more luscious melodies with “Delusional”, “By the Light of the Moon”, and the interlude “A Crown of Seven Suns”. Kerli steps back into the limelight with “By The Light of the Moon” after first working with Seven Lions over 10 years ago. The interlude “A Crown of Seven Suns” then introduces us to the next part of the album.
“From Beyond” starts off with lustrous, hard-hitting chords and immediately goes into what is one of the hardest drops on the record, emptying out to a DnB rhythm sure to move listeners in ways they never thought possible. The album continues with “So Far Away (ft. Lilly Ahlberg)”, a gorgeously crafted melodic track.
“Cold As Snow” is up next with its icy melody and bitter lyrics. It showcases not only Haliene’s vocals, but also her writing ability as she describes a love that has turned as cold as snow. This is then followed up with yet another singable track called “Past You” featuring vocalist Oaks, emphasizing heavy super saws and room-filling chords.
The album ends with two heart-filled tracks, “Thrice Woven (ft. Kerli)”, and “Breathe It Out Slowly (ft. Fiora)”. I think I speak for all Seven Lions fans when I say hearing these vocalists round out this album is like coming home. In “Thrice Woven”, Kerli sings alongside massive chords and swaying melodies. “Breathe It Out Slowly” is a soft landing provided by the incomparable voice of Fiora, a ground-moving vocalist reminding us that Seven Lions has grown into a mature artist with a more evolved and refined sound.
From traveling into space, cold waters, fiery suns, lightness, and darkness, this album is a journey through the ages. It’s sure to bring a smile to each listener’s face, both those who are familiar with Seven Lions and those new to this legendary artist.
