Lollapalooza goes from noon to 10 PM for four days in Chicago this weekend. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite artists performing early in the day.
Lollapalooza in downtown Chicago at Grant Park features artists of all genres for a long weekend of festival sets and afters. While most attendees don’t arrive until later in the afternoon, it’s always worth it to get to Lolla early to catch both headlining artists and discover new music.
The Lollapalooza set times are out now, and several of our favorite artists are performing early each day of the weekend. From the T-Mobile Stage to Bud Light and Perry’s in between, take a look at some of our can’t-miss artists at Lollapalooza 2025 that might’ve flown under your radar.
Jade LeMac, Tito’s Stage, Thursday 12:45-1:30 PM
21-year old singer-songwriter Jade LeMac broke through with the release of “Constellations” in 2021. Based in Vancouver, the multi-genre artist has compiled over 200M streams on the single, with several remixes and alternate recordings played millions of times as well. She’s been busy in the studio since, with a much-awaited new track coming in August and rumors of an EP coming later this year.

Hex Cougar, Perry’s, 12:30-1:15 PM Friday
RL Grime and Sable Valley collaborator Hex Cougar is a trap and bass artist that should not be missed on Friday. Also implementing elements of hardwave, future bass, dubstep, and more, Hex Cougar has a distinct electronic sound and Lollapalooza is a rare chance to see him live. After starting with some DNB from Mary Droppinz, stick around Perry’s for a bass music exhibition from Hex Cougar.

Max McNown, T-Mobile, 2:55-3:55 PM Saturday
Max McNown is a Nashville-based artist that draws influence from genres like folk pop and country. His latest album, Night Diving, builds off the success of releases Willfully Blind and Wandering, which sprouted radio hits “A Lot More Free” and “Love Me Back”. A self-taught musician from Oregon, he’s one of our favorite acts in a new generation of acoustic music that stars artists like Myles Smith and recent collaborator Cameron Whitcomb.

Jigitz, Perry’s, 12:45-1:30 PM Sunday
While Sunday morning might be the hardest day to wake up early for Lolla, be sure to catch Jigitz if you find yourself inside the gates at the time others are still eating breakfast. The Brooklyn-based electronic artist has blown up via a mix of house, techno, and bass music that’s accessible to all music palates. “Tell You Straight” has been remixed by Louis The Child and Ely Oaks, and Jigitz’ Lolla set comes off the release of his all my exes live in brooklyn EP just the week before the festival.
