All Day I Dream, hosted by Lee Burridge, celebrated the launch of the Outset Backlot in Chicago with an all-day party on Saturday, July 12.
Lee Burridge, the visionary behind the All Day I Dream collective, is a veteran at throwing unique events with a signature house music vibe. His headlining set at All Day I Dream’s summer tour stop in Chicago was a perfect example of this, as the daytime event featured a captivating lineup of house music and a packed house of attendees.

Also featured on the lineup were Tim Green, Pippi Ciez, Tommy Raffa, and Jon Charnis, all of whom delivered electronic music on par with what’s expected from an ADID event.

All Day I Dream’s summer 2025 tour kicked off at Pershing Square in Los Angeles in May, the same place we attended their event last year. While they returned to Pershing Square after a previous show at the same location, they were also the first-ever outdoor show at Outset in Chicago, a venue that we attended after its grand opening in 2024. The tour has made stops all over the world, including Mexico, England, and Canada, as well as upcoming shows in Georgia, Egypt, and New York.

We arrived at Outset around 6 PM during Pippi Ciez’s set, who threw down proper opening vibes on a hot summer day. The next artist was Tim Green, who was truly outstanding. It was full of interesting drops and buildups, resulting in impressive variety in a style that sometimes feels formulaic. Lee Burridge continued with this trend, playing a wide range of house music as the event slowly eased into nighttime. The recognizable All Day I Dream decor illuminated the venue, and the transition from easy-going day party vibes to a pulsing club-like atmosphere was complete.

Overall, the vibe at All Day I Dream was exactly what we expected. It was a comfortable place to see some sophisticated house music, and the crowd clearly appreciated the opportunity to hang out with friends at a thoughtfully curated electronic music gathering.

While the All Day I Dream summer 2025 tour is wrapping up shortly, stay tuned for another round of dates next festival season. They consistently provide some of the best day parties in the house music scene. After this one in Chicago and last year in L.A., we plan to make it a 3-peat next year with another immersive house music experience from All Day I Dream.
