Prospa at Vertiport, Wednesday 5 PM-12 AM

Prospa starts the festivities on early Wednesday evening with a headlining show at Chicago’s Vertiport. Not much information is available on this one yet; the Vertiport is a heliport that has previously hosted a handful of house music events. If you’re in the city on Wednesday, it’s worth checking out the excellent house duo Prospa at a uniquely curated location.
Barry Can’t Swim with Fcukers at Salt Shed, Wednesday 9 PM

Housed in an old Morton Salt warehouse in a former industrial area of Chicago, the Salt Shed has been in a force in the city’s music scene since opening in 2023. Multi-genre electronic musician Barry Can’t Swim brings a headlining live show to the Shed on Wednesday night with opening duties from Fcukers. This one is sure to kick off the festival vibes of Lolla weekend properly.
IsoXo with SYZY at Radius, Friday 10 PM

Fans of trap, bass, and dubstep should make their way to Radius on Friday night. Another newer venue in a warehouse-style building, Radius has hosted some of Chicago’s biggest EDM shows in recent years. Headliner IsoXo has quickly climbed the ranks of the bass music scene, recently announcing a b2b with Skrillex at his Niteharts festival in San Diego this October. Heavy dubstep artist SYZY is direct support. Head to Radius if you’re ready to go hard on day two of Lolla weekend.
Foster the People (DJ Set) at Spybar, Friday 10 PM-4 AM

Here’s an interesting addition to the afterparty lineup (the newly announced ones are highlighted yellow on the graphic above). Foster The People, the influential indie band of “Pumped Up Kicks” fame, will head to the Spybar basement after the festival on Friday. Seeing a Foster the People show at an iconic house music club will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for their fans. It’s the type of event that only happens during a special weekend like Lollapalooza.
Deborah de Luca with Brennen Grey, Ramova Theatre, Saturday 9:30 PM

For a proper techno night this Lolla weekend, check out Deborah de Luca at Ramova Theatre on Saturday. A classic Chicago theater that recently started hosting a variety of events after reopening, the Ramova is a comfortable place for a show. Techno heavyweight Deborah de Luca will be making a special trip to Chicago for this one, which also features a set from rising techno artist Brennan Grey. This is a great option to switch up the vibes on Saturday night.
Salute with DJ Heather & Rika B at Smartbar, Sunday 10 PM

Another diverse artist whose music transcends genres, salute makes his return to Smartbar on Sunday night after playing an ARC Festival afterparty last year. Located beneath Metro, Smartbar is a legendary club that first opened its doors in 1982. Opening duties come from Chicago selectors DJ Heather and Rika B. Smartbar is the kind of place you can show up on any given night and the music and vibes are just right. Expect Sunday night of Lolla weekend to be another unforgettable session.
