The 2025 lineup for Movement Electronic Music Festival is out now, and it features massive names like Carl Cox, John Summit, and Sara Landry.
Movement Festival at Hart Plaza in Downtown Detroit is an electronic music tradition spanning several decades. Movement is consistently one of our favorite festivals, and our review of last year’s event was another positive one. From Saturday to Monday of Memorial Day Weekend 2025, Movement will once again bring three days of house and techno to Detroit.
Movement previously announced several of its headliners in phase one, including Jamie XX, Sammy Virji, Anfisa Letyago, Klangkuenstler, Carl Cox, and Chase & Status. New additions to the 2025 Movement lineup include Sara Landry, Boys Noize, Charlotte de Witte, Joseph Capriati, Ben UFO, Chris Liebing, and Joris Voorn.
Movement Detroit 2025 Set Times
Movement Detroit 2025 tickets are on sale now!

Movement Festival takes place at Hart Plaza, a waterfront park on the shores of the Detroit River. Sets are spread throughout the park, including the main Movement Stage in a permanent ampitheatre setup. The Waterfront Stage, Stargate Stage, Detroit Stage, and Pyramid Stage are all located in the corners of the plaza. Underneath the park is the Underground Stage, where the hardest techno can be found in a rave-like environment.

The Movement 2025 lineup has some of the most prominent names in the current house and techno scene. Combining both mainstream and underground vibes at a festival in the birthplace of techno music, Movement 2025 will be another memorable year in the legendary city of Detroit.

Note: Carl Cox is unable to make the festival and will now appear next year. Jeff Mills will take his place as the Saturday headliner in 2025.
