Tickets to the inaugural Solshine Reverie are on sale now!
Summer Camp Music Festival announced before last’s years event that it would be the final iteration of the festival. Fans were pleasantly surprised to hear that a similar event would be returning this year as a new concept: Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie.
The festival will take place in the same park as Scamp in Chillicothe, Illinois during the same Memorial Day Weekend. The pre-party is slated for Thursday, May 23, with the main festival being held Friday, May 24 through Sunday, May, 26.
The term reverie, meaning “a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts; a daydream,” is going to be the center focus of the festival. You can see our full breakdown of the changes coming to the festival here.
Solshine Reverie 2024 Set Times
Can’t Miss Artists at Solshine Reverie Friday
Venbee, Campfire Stage, 6:15-7:15 PM
I recently discovered Venbee, and am incredibly impressed by all of her music. Her sound is very unique combining the melodies of old school big room tracks and modern liquid drum and bass beats. Venbee’s set is definitely going to be a vibe to get the weekend started.
Black Carl!, Illumination Stage, 12-12:50 AM
Black Carl! brings a deeper version of bass to the mix, with a combination of old school UKF dubstep and modern DNB sounds. You can find him opening on tour for Inzo, or playing on some of the biggest bass lineups in the US right now. He is surely going to bring a unique sound to Solshine.
Levity, Illumination Stage, 1:00-1:50 AM
The bass trio from Chicago has been blowing up over the last year. With songs like “Flip It” and their new song “Front to Back”, their set is surely going to be a blast. After seeing them play a pool party in South Florida and a MMW event going B2B with ALLEYCVT, I have been itching for another Levity set.
John Summit, Moonshine Stage, 2:30-4 AM
After seeing four Summit sets at Caverns, you would think I would have had enough for the year, but each set brings more excitement than the last. He has already come out with two of my favorite songs this year, “Shiver” and “Go Back”, with a full album on the way soon. I can’t wait to see what he brings to Solshine. Perhaps we will see some bass Summit?

Can’t Miss Artists at Solshine Reverie Saturday
Jason Leech, Campfire Stage, 2-3 PM
I absolutely adore when a bass artist plays a live instrument on stage. Jason Leech’s keyboard melodies combined with wubs is a match made in heaven. Jason was recently on tour opening for Sunsquabi, who will also be playing the festival. He is playing two sets this weekend with one being in the VIP lounge, which provides a more intimate viewing experience.
Kill Safari, Campfire Stage, 10:30-11:30 PM
This rare B2B project is at the top of my can’t miss list for the weekend. Separately, Kill the Noise and Bro Safari are great, but they are even better as Kill Safari. This duo is sure to bring 2010s dubstep, trap, and a whole lot of surprises to their set. If you grew up in the scene listening to both artists like I did, you definitely won’t want to miss this.

Can’t Miss Artists at Solshine Reverie Sunday
Night Tales, Campfire Stage, 10:45-11:45 PM
I discovered Night Tales at We Belong Here Miami, and immediately fell in love with their sound. They bring live instruments and calmer sounds together to create their own spin on house. This kind of emotional music has not always been a staple of Summer Camp in the past, so I am excited to see the new energy Night Tales brings to Solshine Reverie.
LP Giobbi (Dead House Set), Campfire Stage, 12:30-1:30 AM
LP has long been a favorite artist of mine. Although I have never seen her Dead House Set, it is sure to be the perfect blend of her traditional house music and the jam band vibes that are on par with the festival. This is going to be the perfect combination of all things Solshine.
Ravenscoon, Illumination Stage, 3-4 AM
Ravenscoon has been quickly gaining popularity in the bass scene with his Downtempo adventure YouTube audio visual mixes. His music is my favorite kind of experimental bass with releases on labels such as Wakaan, and tour spots headlining and opening for artists such as Zeds Dead. This will be my first time seeing him play and I am so excited to close out the weekend doing so.
