Gem & Jam Festival has released its 2024 lineup, and it proves that this long-running festival has something for everyone.
Now in its 16th year, Gem & Jam Festival maintains a mixture of both familiar and rising artists. Their lineups traditionally have a combination of jam, funk, and bass music that appeals to a wide range of genres, styles, and fanbases, and the 2024 lineup delivers once again.

Here are the music styles that we’re excited to see on the Gem & Jam 2024 lineup!
Jam and Funk Bands
It wouldn’t be Gem & Jam without the jam bands that infuse their unique improvisations with live instruments to bring exciting and unpredictable music to the stage. This year, headlining jam acts include Lettuce, The Disco Biscuits, and Spafford. Other notable jam-influenced artists on the lineup are Michael Menert, Pink Talking Fish, and Sam Grisman Project.
Jamtronic, Glitch Hop, and Bass Music
An interesting category of artists is represented on this year’s lineup: artists who bring a specific funk, hip-hop, electronic, bass combination to their styles. Headliners like Daily Bread, Boogie T, and Of The Trees have an experimental bass infusion with jam elements to create an experience unique to each of their shows. Our other favorite artists within this category are Break Science, Jantsen, Yheti, Mr. Carmack, Maddy O’Neal, Truth, Jaenga, and A Hundred Drums.
Experimental House
Rounding out the Gem & Jam 2024 lineup are different genres of house music. Headlining is LP Giobbi, who is inspired by the Grateful Dead and their classic songs. She brings a unique blend of styles that flow together to create a rich experience that is clearly respectful of where the music began. Other notable artists in this category are Booka Shade and Too Many Zooz, who both have a combination of house-inspired styles.
If there’s anything we learned from attending last year’s Gem & Jam, it’s that the lineup holds all kinds of gems to be found that you may not know about yet! The organizers don’t miss a beat with their representation of where these genres come from, as well as where they’re going. We can’t wait to see what our favorite artists have planned and find artists we have yet to discover at Gem & Jam Festival 2024.
