Held at The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, the Americana West Festival brought two full days of country music to Los Angeles, California on May 5-6, 2023.
After we attended Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, we stuck around Los Angeles for a week for a variety of events. One of them was Americana West Music Festival, a two-day festival at The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
With two stages and multiple rooms across the venue, Americana West hosted artists from several country styles. The focus was on Americana culture, with genres like blues, classic country, alt-country, roots, pop country, and more represented.
A few artists from Stagecoach Festival made appearances, including Leroy From The North and Kapali Long.
Americana West Festival expanded to two days for the first time in 2023, and tickets were priced at just $30 for one day or $50 for a weekend pass. The lineup featured a little bit of everything, from grassroots country music to pop country that trended across TikTok.
The main stage in The Hotel Cafe had a nice-sized bar and seating area and hosted acts like Manda Mosher, Honey Country, and Leslie Stevens. The second stage in a smaller room had a focus on more classic styles of country, which proved to be a big hit with the attendees at Americana West. Artists there included Deb Morrison, Tawny Ellis, and Moonsville Collective.
Taking place from 7 PM to midnight on Saturday and Sunday, Americana West Music Festival was a proper weekend of country music in Los Angeles.
In an area that doesn’t always get a regular rotation of country, Americana West Music Festival brings authentic Americana vibes to Los Angeles for two days of music. If the event returns again next year after Stagecoach, you can count on us to come back to Hollywood’s #1 country fest.
